Chevrolet Corvette Campaign

Ahead of its launch in Europe I worked with Chevrolet to prove that their new model is super capable on European roads. I and the creative team helped them to create a one of a kind stunt that would drive brand awareness and increase showroom traffic. The concept was to take the car to the notoriously steep and winding roads, of the Klausen Pass in Switzerland, where we recruited legendary Red Bull Wingsuit flyer Jokke Sommer to race the supercar in an epic challenge between man and machine.

The Main Campaign Film:

The Deliverables

With just a three day shoot, we produced an entire suite of content designed to drive consumers to Chevrolet’s specially built online microsite, where they could request a digital test drive of the car. Alongside an epic hero film, cinema and tv edits, I art directed a set of hero images and stills that were used for print, display and OOH content as well as a full behind-the-scenes film with interviews to camera from all major players.

The Results

For the social content to rinse engagement, a suite of social assets were created for full impact. These were focused for Facebook, and Instagram, such as polls and 360 techniques to bring the thrilling race to life all with the on screen graphics that I designed. The beauty was there was no need to have extra footage, just creative thinking and editing.
The overall impact smashed the brand awareness targets with over 7,000 test drives and a total of 9 million views.
